More than 20 years of helping guitar players enjoy making music

I've been teaching guitar for over 20 years: in my own studio, at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, and at Front Porch Music in Valparaiso, Indiana.

I’ve been playing guitar for over 35 years: leading worship at churches and camps, playing solo fingerstyle and singer-songwriter tunes, playing in a classical guitar quartet, accompanying musical theatre, and performing in folk ensembles.

I especially enjoy arranging (and publishing) fingerstyle arrangements of movie and video game themes, hymns, and other music that’s not written for guitar.

I grew up in Ohio, went to school in North Carolina and Illinois, and moved to Nampa with my wife and kids in 2004.
